Frogodile

frogodile

In this mission, I blended a crocodile’s head and a frog together to create a frogodile.
I first grabbed the frog picture and placed it on a white background. I then put a crocodile picture on a white background and soon deleted the white background. I erased parts around the body of the crocodile and used the magnetic lasso to get the crocodile’s head looking perfect. After that, I moved the crocodile’s head to the same place where the picture of the frog was.
I blended the crocodile’s head into the place where the frog’s neck part was and got rid of the crocodile’s eye with the stamp tool to make it look like the frogodile. I then outlined the crocodile’s head and changed the color with the Color Balance to make the colors look the same as the frog’s colors. I had to change the tongue color and teeth so I erased the Color Balance on that. I also used the burn tool to make it look like the frogodile’s head wasn’t just in the air.

iPod Me

In this, I made a silhouette out of a picture I took of me. I shaped my body out of the picture to create the black silhouette. I then added the red color as the background of this picture. Next, I added the gradient tool for the background to make it look like it was fading. I made the iPod out of the Rounded Rectangle tool and placed it on my hand. After making the iPod, I made my ear buds. I made the ear bud wires out of the Pen tool at first then the Brush tool. I shaped the wires how I wanted them to be shaped and added the Brush tool to it to make it look like it was popping out. When I made the ear buds, I also had to make the buds. I made it out of the Ellipse tool and put it at the top of the wire. I was then finished with this mission.

Eddie the Donkey

eddie-the-donkey-final

In the mission Eddie the donkey, I learned many new things. I learned how to do a selection and how to use the magnetic and polygonal lasso on the barn. I found out new things about the hue/saturation property scale which I had never known before. When I put Eddie the donkey and the barn on the field, I re-sized it and changed the grass’s background to a duller and more rusty color. I also blended Eddie’s rear end into the barn with the brush. When I was shaping Eddie, I learned about the Magic Wand tool and it made things easier to do.

eddie-the-mastery

In the mastery mission, I had changed the red barn and sky’s color to a much brighter color. Before in this background, the sky was very dull looking and so was the barn. I enhanced the hue/saturation to make the saturation a little more positive and the hue negative. I re-sized Eddie and got rid of some white spots around his body.
